How to Re-Enter BMS Settings on a Momentum Watts 72V/32AH Battery (At Your Own Risk)

⚠️ Disclaimer: This guide is provided for entertainment purposes only. Batteries are inherently dangerous and can cause fire, injury, or even death if handled improperly. This information is not a substitute for professional service. By reading or attempting any of the steps outlined here, you assume full responsibility for any damage, harm, or loss. Why This Matters

If you’ve accidentally erased or changed the BMS (Battery Management System) settings on your Momentum Watts 72V/32AH battery, the system may stop functioning correctly. The BMS is responsible for balancing cells, protecting against overcharge/discharge, and regulating safe operation. Without proper settings, your battery may not operate—or worse, it may operate unsafely.

This guide walks through the general process of re-entering settings into the BMS. Again—this is not a recommendation to do it yourself. Professionals with the right tools and training should always handle high-voltage lithium batteries.

2)  Set the parameters: voltage, current, balance (no need to follow the order)
