8 years ago, my wife and I rode a Razor MX500 into our wedding reception as our "funny entrance". While I never had intensions of ever really using it again, I kept it around anyway.  

In 2022, a close friend who works for us saw that same MX500 sitting in the corner of our shop (he was at the wedding too! Lol)  he decided to take it to his office, purchase a charger, and proceed to ride it around the warehouse and office - making us all instantly jealous and setting the stage for what we have today.

After taking turns riding around our warehouse, we quickly hit Facebook market place and picked up 2 more MX500 so all 3 of us could race.  After about an hour, we went to eBay and found the "over volt" kit (Shoutout FasterScooters).  And then it was on to 48V batteries with a Kelly controller, and then suspension, etc etc.

We knew there had to be a better way to do this, we were tired of waiting months for parts, we were tired of janky electrical tape & butt connector wiring - so we did something about it... Momentum Watts was born out of providing high quality plug and play solutions for our own bikes, and now we offer those to the people who want to spend time RIDING their bike instead of waiting and fixing shit all the time.
